5 Reformists arrested in Male' at Rice Pudding do
Male' - Police in plain clothes attacked and confiscated a traditional rice pudding feast in the eastern corner of Male' tonight (Tetrapod Square). They also arrested 5 people including a journalist from eSandhaanu magazine reports say. MDP Founder Latheef and Mariya Didi reportedly have gone to the police to complain about the situation. An eyewitness at the scene said "this is very strange because when we had rice pudding whilst Gary Streeter was in Male' there was no problem, but tonight they are attacking us, this is absurd."
