We have all heard about the fate of Nisreen at the hands of Dictator Gayyoom's police and security forces. She was initially arrested and sentenced for 15 years for being allegedly involved in Sandhaanu online newsletter. She has since been released due to international and local pressure. She now demands to get medical treatment for her injuries.

Following is a letter she recently sent to Dictator Gayyoom requesting for medical treatment sponsorship. She has not had a reply to her previous pleas.
