Shame on Maldives Customs Head Mr. Zuhair

Dear Sir,
We have very educated and understanding friends in your organization. We understand from them that unlike earlier times, there are staff who have completed Masters Degree in various fields today working in Maldives Customs.

But, very unfortunately, none of the Degree holders are made a Section Head so far or given responsible posts. Instead we see some very overage, uneducated and incapable people put as Section Heads.

Indeed, there is one who holds a Masters Degree but all your staff believes that this particular guy is a hen that was kept in Malaysia for a year or two. We understand you are fully aware of this guy as this guy always disappears if he has to meet a foreigner. Because, he knows that he cannot even communicate with a foreigner with his current English standard. This guy is made as the Superman of Customs at Male' International Airport, making the Section Heads completely USELESS. Because, you know that this guy and his younger brother is EVERYTHING for Mr Abdulla Shahid, the Executive Secretary to the President.

MR ZUHAIR, WHY DON'T YOU USE YOUR VALUABLE STAFF WHO ARE HOLDING MASTERS DEGREE AS SECTION HEADS SO THAT THEY CAN HELP YOU RULE CUSTOMS EFFICIENTLY RATHER THAN RULING YOUR OWN WAY?

Mr Zuhair, do you still believe that the job you are assigned by the President is exactly what you are doing? Do you know you have an important role to play to protect your country from NARCOTIC DRUGS? Or you believe you are there just to detect EXPLOSIVES? All the Drug Dealers know the DOG is barking for the smell of PINEAPPLE and the likes. Don't you know this, Mr Zuhair?

Mr Zuhair, we understand you would really want to enjoy a close relationship with the Maldives Airports Company Ltd. as your wife is a BIG-SHOT there BUT this is TOO MUCH. You are not playing any role to prevent DRUGS coming into the country through the Airport Gates. Do you know everyone believes that Customs involvement in the Gate Keeping became ZERO since you took charge at Customs Mr Zuhair? That is because you are concerned about the relations with the organization your wife is in, and nothing else! Mr Zuhair, people don't believe you are a fool so why are you acting like one?

Mr Zuhair, please don't think that people are sleeping. You can play no dirty games without us knowing. Are you scared that you will loose your job if you give the educated ones in your organisations the opportunity to Degree holders that you have? Or are you following in the footsteps of your Master – the Dictator!
