"Come on guys.. corruption, nepotism and complete abuse of human rights... time is up.. you tell him that.."

Published - April 10, 2004 06:42:45 -0600

It is sad to find people who try to change the facts, with the use of words only. Is it not a fact that Maumoon has ruled us with fear and intimidation over the past 25 years? Is it not true that there has been quite a few deaths in custody? Is it not true that Naifaru Dhohokko was jailed for hoping to see another day? Is it not true that my own brother was jailed for the attempted murder of 5 heads of states (without them ever knowing)? Is it not true that Maumoon lives in a multi-million dollar palace? Is it not true that he has a luxury yacht which costs more than a school? Is it not true that there are still more than a 150 islands (out of 200) where basic secondary education is not provided, basic healthcare is not provided? Is it not true that he has almost all of his brothers and in-laws in the cabinet... come on guys.. corruption, nepotism and complete abuse of human rights... time is up.. you tell him that... I call upon any of you to challenge me openly.. that goes for Maumoon as well. The people of Maldives would never vote for a dictator like Maumoon if they had their way... all this hype for what? you think you can change the course of what we do.. the answer would be NO! Keep trying... by the way, I have put a link on my site for you, so please don't submit it to my website. It is only a matter of time! Thank you for trying so hard.. this is in fact helping us more! Baseless arguments... people are dead, don't forget that! And, guess what, there will be lots of pressure and we will keep trying harder until this is over, until Maldives is liberated from the evil claws of Maumoon!

Hey sappe', or whoever
Check these answers for your questions;

Is it not a fact that Maumoon has ruled us with fear and intimidation over the past 25 years?
To who was this “fear”, only for the eccentric people like you, who doesn’t want to obey any rules. What ‘s the meaning of democracy? You want to know that?

Is it not true that there has been quite a few deaths in custody?
Is that all because of Maumoon?

Is it not true that Naifaru Dhohokko was jailed for hoping to see another day?
Why should he want to see another day. Even Maumoon admired Dhohokko and he was awarded and recognized by him. People like him are always being recognized.

Is it not true that my own brother was jailed for the attempted murder of 5 heads of states (without them ever knowing)?
Are you going to prove the innocence of your brother? Come on don’t try to hide the truth to the public. Are you trying to say brother is straight, can you count how many people he has cheated, are those the money of government, no individual people’s.

Is it not true that Maumoon lives in a multi-million dollar palace?
Why? Not multi million right, have you tried to valuate the building?
Even if its, did he ever say it is his own house. Hey nutcase that’s a place for the president. Even if you become the president (hope never) you can stay there too.

Is it not true that he has a luxury yacht which costs more than a school?
Once again that’s a presidents yacht (not Maumoon’s), Didn’t this government build many schools or created opportunities for people to go abroad and do higher studies (What about your self, your brother… Be grateful)

Is it not true that there are still more than a 150 islands (out of 200) where basic secondary education is not provided, basic healthcare is not provided? Is it not true that he has almost all of his brothers and in-laws in the cabinet... come on guys.. corruption,

Hey check your general knowledge, facts and figures. Don’t just say anything, can you count how many schools are there in Maldives . You won’t bother, but I think most of you guys would be able to count how many kg of brown sugar is illegally imported to Maldives. (no personal grudge)

Are you guys proud of trying to convince some of international travel agents like “Kuoni” to withdraw from Maldives?

Hey if you guys are really trying to do some thing for the people, why not try to open a school or a vocational institute for youth, try to save the people from drugs.

You won’t bother, and on the other hand you are trying to ruin the peace as well as all the resources and also trying to humiliate us. Can you imagine the how much people who lives even abroad has to suffer with this

In any case if you can’t publish this on your website, (I am sure you wont) then you are a coward. Then try to reply.
