We know the reason why you haven’t translated the Holy Quran to Dhivehi. You do not want the vast majority of Maldivians understand Allah’s message. You use selected verses of Quran to suppress people and take advantage. You have labelled all those against your as Christians. You are a sick, cheap coward. Here are few verses from the Holy Quran for you and your evil associates. You probably know these and that’s why I call you the biggest hypocrite of our time.

O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? It is deeply abhorrent to Allah that you should say that which you do not do. (Surat as-Saff, 61:2-3)

Be true to Allah's contract when you have agreed to it, and do not break your oaths once they are confirmed and you have made Allah your guarantee. Allah knows what you do. (Surat an-Nahl, 16:91)

Fulfill your contracts. Contracts will be asked about. (Surat al-Isra', 17:34)

You are obsessed by greed for more and more until you go down to your graves... (Surat at-Takathur, 102:1-2)

All might belongs to Allah, to His Messenger, and the believers. But the hypocrites do not know this. (Surat al-Munafiqun, 63:8)

07.05.2004 Think of how you will be remembered in the history of Maldives! Remember, this generation will write your history. You still have time to get yourself a place in it as a good leader. Change for the good of the many, get rid of nepotism and have democratic elections; let the people speak their mind; let them have a decent life; it is unfair that you sleep in a palace and there are people begging behind the palace. Like yourself, they are Maldivians, not only that, you are their servant. Better late than never.

29.04.2004 Opposing you is not against Islam, it is the other way around. Stop pretending to be someone you are not. The opposition movement is explicitly trying to expose your misdemeanours, it has nothing to do with Islam. And, for your information, these ideas are straight from Maldivian minds. My suggestion to Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom would be to let the court punish those cops found guilty of torture and death of the prisoners , in accordance with the law of the land and pardon those including the six hand-picked for trials, who had come on to the streets , as a result of justifiable , collective anger and frustration in response to an unprecedented event in our history. These two things cannot be reconciled: People who came out on the streets that day cannot be treated as being equally , if not more guilty than the cops who murdered innocent Maldivians . While the cops have murdered those boys in cold blood, apparently for no purpose except for their own sadistic reasons, those who came on to the streets in thousands did so because of the highly charged emotional atmosphere, that prevailed that day, as you yourself had informed to the nation. Otherwise no matter how harsh a punishment you mete out to the cops, people will still feel cheated out of justice. There would not be any reconciliation. We will never be able to put this behind.
