How to change Proxy Settings


Unable to View any of the political sites, Don't worry follow these simple steps and you are on your way to safe and fast unrestricted surfing.

1. Click Start, point to Settings,

 

2. click Control Panel,

 

3. Click and then double-click Internet Options

 

4. click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings

 

5. then click to select the Use Proxy Server check box.

In the Address box, you will see proxy.dhivehinet.net.mv port 8080 is the default proxy for Maldives from Dhiraagu, this proxy has blocked most dissident sites such as  www.dhivehiobserver.com and www.maldiviandemocraticparty.org and www.maldivescutlure.com

Simply replace the address to one of the servers below and , replace proxy.dhivehinet.net.mv or the Focus proxy to say 210.3.7.151 For example, if the proxy server's address is "proxy.dhivehinet.net.mv" and the port number is 8080, the setting in the Proxy Server box should appear as: proxy.dhivehinet.net.mv:8080

If you do not know the Web address or port number of the proxy server, contact your network administrator. Also, if there are any Web servers on the local network for which you want to bypass the proxy, type those as well.
