Confessions from "Sons of Yameen"

Gayyoom's brother Yameen; HUNGRY FOR POWER

This confession was sent to us by one of the members of Yameen's mobs. The name of the writer has been withheld for his safety. We have also advised the writer to not to give out his name or any other details to anybody connected with the authorities in any capacity as it is clearly becoming evident that there are very few whom the people could trust. To get in touch with the writer please write from an officially registered independent non-government email address stating clearly who you are and what you want with him. Upon satisfactory clarification for the safety of the writer by him any correspondence could take place between the writer. This confession letter is addressed to the public in general, to warn of the dangers that lie ahead for the people in Yameen's power hungry mission to be president of Maldives at any cost. Many people may think who I would be?

I am a member of Yameen's (Minister Yameen) group; he has formed us and is pouring lot of money to us. I am one of the key person of the group (but already resigned due to lot of internal problem within the group).

Let me give you some briefing of this group and their tasks, (all the orders are made by Mr. Yameen, and it is said that Mr. Hameed is also a chief person of this group, but I have not seen him in our group any time).

Mr. Yameen is the person who give us the orders and plans, and we have to work as accordingly. He have planed many time to destroy the peaceful public gathering at Lonuziyaaraiy Kolhu, what he told us was that he could not tolerate to see them gathering there and he wanted an immediate stop to this! In fact he ask our president to stop the gathering by any means. He planned and ordered us to stab Hon. Qasim while he is in the gathering at Lonuziyaaraiy Kolhu, we have tried several times but we are unable to reach him, we have tried many times to start a fight there so that we might get a chance to stab to Hon. Gasim but with all the plans and ideas we failed to do so. Than he offered Rf 100,000/= to anybody who stabs Hon. Gasim. Some members of the group wanted to do it for the huge amount of money, but none is that smart to get to Gasim to stab him. Finally Mr. Yameen managed to stop the gathering by using the police force.

Again when they gathered at republican square on the 12th, we were called for a meeting (all the key members) and asked to stab to Hon. Gasim again, when he is there. We informed Mr. Yameen that Hon. Gasim was not present at the time at the gathering. Immediately Mr. Yameen called some one over the phone and asked him to ask Hon. Gasim to be present at the Republican Square and to tell him to ask the people to obey the rules and go away from there or to go home. After that call he told us that now Hon. Gasim is coming there, and that we should go and do the work assigned. Of cause for this work we have been paid by Yameen, and he paid Rf25,000 Cash, in advance for this task.

We went there and tried to locate Hon. Qasim several times but could not. Then we were asked to make violence there, so that we might get a chance to stab Hon. Gasim. Even after we created fear and violence we were not successful in trying to get a chance to stab to Hon. Gasim. Than we were informed to go to Mr. Yameen, and again he told us to stab Mr. Fareed. We made several attempts but failed to stab him as well. In fact we attacked him twice. Then we informed Mr. Yameen, to change the plan and that we cannot stab any of these guys, he then said we are protected, we wont be getting any punishment if we fulfils his orders, but we decide that for our safety we will not stab Mr. Fareed. Then we informed Mr. Yameen accordingly, his orders were to create violence at the gathering anyway.

After a while he ordered us to stab Brigadier Two-Two Zahir. Immediately we said we can't and we will not do this, but he reminded us the amount of money that we are to get by doing such a simple job and if do this, he will double the amount. So our group gathered and used some drugs (this even supplied by Yameen) and went to the Republican Square to attack Mr. Two-Two Zahir. Unfortunately, he (Zahir) is always accompanied by a very well trained body guard, even if he goes back to that day and think about the movements of our group he will definitely will know that we were trying to plan an attack to him. Anyway, he was saved by his bodyguard. We did not even get a single second to stab him, so we inform to Mr. Yameen about the progress, to which he told us that we are useless, and that he is calling us back soon and hung up.

After sometime Mr. Yameen called us again and told us to start a fight with the police or stab a policeman and he added it didn't matter who got stabbed, and said that once we have stabbed somebody, to immediately come back and relax in home and not to go out for sometime. Then we asked him how can we start a fight with police and how they will join us. he also said that some of the police will give a signal, that they will start a fight with us, so we went and tried to start a fight but the protesters are so brainy that they did not want to take any part in any violence that we start. Again we failed, then immediately one guy from us told us that he is going to do the job. At that same time some of us asked him not to do it, but he didn't listen to any of us and was so thirsty about the money that Mr. Yameen has offered for this job. So we waited a little bit away from the crowd to see what he is doing. He went inside of all the protesters and grab one policeman and stabbed him and immediately he started running out! We went home safely and informed Mr. Yameen of a job well done,... and we thought that our task was over, but again in a moment later he called us and asked to go and attack the police or put fire to some of the government buildings or to attack a police building! So that police will have a say or right to come out against the protesters.

We did all that and we succeed this time and after our attacks, the police force came out from the building assuming that they are no longer in safe because some of them already been attacked by the "protesters". Some tried to get in the Shaheed Hussain Adam building and some tried violence and so on... then immediately the police force came out with weapons and started hitting the people. I know that day the police came out without anybody's order, only Mr. Yameen's order and told the police ("Go and fuck off those assholes!"). Then the police came out with weapons. After that only did Mr. President announce the state of emergency.

We had a big brown sugar (cheap heroin) party that night paid for by Mr. Yameen for the celebration of his victory and the place was fully secured by security of Mr. Yameen.

Now here comes the truth behind that threatening bomb threat letter (currently being circulated around Male' through email - threatening to blow up major government buildings and other places).

That letter was drafted and given to us by Mr. Yameen and gave us the email addresses to send it. After giving this letter he said "misiteege beynumakee raiyithunge hithuga sarukaaraai medhuga oiy ithubaaru gelluvaalun" (The purpose of this letter is to get rid of the trust of the people for the government).

We know from the very beginning he has been eyeing the post of the presidency and infact he kept asking us about the support from our youth to him. Every time he asks, "kobaa mashah varah saport mihaaru kureytha" (Do they support me know?), "kihineh maalethereyga hiyaalu hunnanee" (how are the general publics opinion around Male'?). Furthermore he add "misitee varah ragalhah aharen hinguvaanan, adhi meehunge kaareega kiyaanan mihaaru sarukaaruge kanthah varah dhoa dhiyaley aharumenakah evves himaayatheh nulibeye" (I will do this letter operation very well, and also will start telling the people that the government is incapable to guarantee the peoples safety). He explained how this could make the people loose their trust of the Government. He also tried to organise a fire in a building on Saturday night, but because of the current tight security the plan was flopped. We were asked to put fire to a building, infact we went near the buildings and due to the tight security we couldn't do anything. We then informed about the situation to Mr. Yameen and he told us to come back.

Further, he plans to blast a resort island, so that the economy will go down and the people of the country will have no trust in the Gayyoom government and the people will be forced to change the government, and he also added that the blasting will put on the name of MDP so that many people will get angry with them, so that he will get lot of support from the people, (for his presidential campaign he is trying to create all this violence in the country). This is exactly what he said word to word "Aharumen bon govvaaleema MDP ge mathi vaanee, eyrun mihaaru MDP ah saport kuraameehunves emeehunnakah saporteh nukuraane, adhi sarukaaraai medhu ithubaarugelli sarukaaru ves vetteyne. Eyrun aharen meehunah eheevegen raiyithuge ruhun hoadhaanee" (when we explode the bomb, it will be blamed on MDP, then even the people who support MDP will also stop supporting them. The people will also loose their trust for the current government [for failing to protect them] and the government will eventually fall. Then I will start helping the people to gain their support for me".

He has also planned to rape some innocent girls and kill them and to throw them into Villingili beach so that people are afraid and will not support the government anymore, or we will announce that the inhuman activity is carried by MDP so their support will also disappear.

Dear citizens, Mr. Yameen has planed much more violent actions to be carried in the country under the name of either the government or MDP.

Try and find the gangsters and ask them about what Mr. Yameen is planning for his presidential campaign, this is what I know, but there should be more that other members of the groups know, people like Dhonbiley Ahmed and Victory Suzeyn, they will have more and more news, ask them they will know more!
